Third Grade Weekly Update
Dear Parents,
I hope this email finds you well and not having to deal with too many issues surrounding our recent downpour. I know for me, I am extremely glad we replaced our sump pump or else my entire basement would be flooded!
As we wrap up a second trimester, I always use it as a time to reflect andthink about how I can make our final months together better. That can be academically, behaviorally or spiritually. As you know, this is a big class. There are so many different learners with different abilities and needs. I care about their progress and happiness deeply, and good or bad, I often measure my own success with theirs. I’m looking forward to pushing for their best this year, and I appreciate all the patience and diligence in which you’ve approached homework and classwork. It takes a village!

- Tuesday, Mar. 14: Free Dress for March BDays
- Tuesday, Mar. 14: First Reconciliation
- Wednesday, Mar. 15: Sports Photo Day
- Friday, Mar. 17: Report Card Day
- Friday, Mar. 31: Noon Dismissal, St. Patrick’s Day: Free Dress (Green)

We will have an “in school field trip” on March 21st called The Shelley’s Adventure Experience. It will be presented by award winning author Kentrell Martin, and is an interactive book reading that includes American Sign Language. Families have an opportunity to purchase a goody bag that includes an autographed book and other items. Please see the link found here for more information and ordering.
Lastly, our School Advisory Board (SAB) is looking for feedback and suggestions on how we can improve SPN. This is a great time to have your voice heard in a safe and anonymous way.
