Belonging and Inclusion

All are Welcome, because We All Belong

Mission: To cultivate a deeper appreciation for the different backgrounds, cultures, and identities represented at St. Philip Neri, and to honor the uniqueness of each individual and family to build a strong and inclusive community.

B&I Committee Student Recognition: Kaleb Condez, SPN Class of 2024.

Kaleb Condez, SPN Class of 2024, designed a website during Genius Hour elective to increase awareness of the violence against Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities. The webpage, Stop AAPI Hate, is a resource for awareness and activism. Kaleb’s work around issues the AAPI community faces was featured in the Tri-City Voice, Castro Valley Forum, Alameda Sun, and AAPI Youth Rising.

Kaleb will also be published in Appelley Publishing’s 2024 Rising Stars Collection for his poem “After the Bell Rings.” The poem which Kaleb recited at our School Oratorical Festival, is a reminder to always be kind.
