Third Grade Weekly Update

Dear Parents,

I hope this email finds you well. This week, we had the pleasure of spending some time in the Makerspace, where we created Bingo cards featuring equations and arrays for calculating area. It was a lot of fun playing with the cards, and the students were thrilled with the prizes. In addition, we began working on our science dioramas, focusing on the theme of “Wild Weather.” The students’ creativity really shone through, and the dioramas are already looking amazing. I have included pictures of both projects below for you to see.

Here are some upcoming dates to plan for:

• Friday, Mar 15 – Noon Dismissal
• Tuesday, Mar 19 – Free Dress for March Birthdays
• Friday, Mar 22 – School Spirit Day – Disney Day
• Monday, Mar 25 – Stations of the Cross
• Tuesday, Mar 26 – Tenebrae, 1:00-2:00 p.m.
• Wednesday, Mar 27 – Seder Meal, 11:00 a.m., Noon dismissal
• Thursday, Mar 28 – No School: Holy Thursday, No Share and Care (Cesar Chavez Day Observed)
• Friday, Mar 29 – No School: Good Friday, No Share and Care
