Kindergarten Update

Dear Parents, March 27,2020

Reiterating what we have previously said in our daily emails, our first two weeks of Long Distance Learning have gone well. We are most appreciative to all of the parents and students for their extra effort in these challenging days.

We will continue our learning next week with our weekly lesson plans sent to you on Monday. Again, we are attempting to mirror our regular classroom as much as possible. The schedule that you set for your Kindergarten child should reflect what is easiest for you and your child. In other words,if your child wants to be on one of the online applications ( Raz Kids or SuperKids Fun) for more than 20 minutes allow them to explore the activities. If not, that’s fine as long as they are completing 20 minutes per day of either application.

Our SuperKid this week will be Bridget. From now on these will be the new directions for our Super Kid: Please share three things for this activity- a Baptism or baby picture, a family photo and a favorite object or book. You may also create a poster if you’d like but is not required. (Some of the things that you might include on your poster are your favorite food, favorite place, favorite color, what you’d like to be when you grow up and something that you would wish for.) Be prepared to share on Tuesdays.

The Guesstimation Jar goes to Joseph. Please put no more than 40 things in a container and send us a picture of it. The students will count on Fridays as we have been doing.

Rose will be shared by Hannah next week and then will stay home for now!
