Dear Second Grade Families,
Last week we experienced many blessings. Father Robert joined us in second grade for a teaching Mass. He helped students learn more about the items used during the Mass as well as the garments that the priest wears. Students were curious and respectful life-long learners!
We also received some new visitors – Mrs. Devlin (Jos’s mom) brought us monarch butterfly eggs! The class will get to experience their life cycle by observing, making predictions about, and caring for our delicate guests. ๐ The children will also get to create butterfly inspired art this coming Friday during our first art docent lesson with Mrs. Ortiz-Lynch (Lina’s mom), Mrs. Holmes (Amelia’s mom), and Mrs. Devlin! We are so blessed.
Field trip update – we have our chaperones and drivers, so thank you ALL!! I will be sending out permission slips in the next week or two.
