Preschool Weekly Update – week of 1/22

Hello parents,

What a wonderful time the children are having learning about dinosaurs and geography. They are excited to show off their dino projects at the SPN Open House on Sunday 1/28. We will continue this week with a virtual field trip to the Museum of Natural History in New York. The museum has an impressive collection of fossils.

If your child is moving on to TK, an application must be filled out. Applications need to be completed by January 31st. Please turn in the “Recommendation Form” to me as soon as possible. Here is a link to the application process. https://www.spnalameda.org/admissions/how-to-apply/

January 25th is a Spirit Day/Class Theme. Preschool has chosen “Monochromatic Free Dress.” Each preschooler can choose a single color and dress completely in that color! We are so excited to see all the different colors the children choose.

January 28th is our SPN Catholic School Week kick off!! Mass will be at 9:00am followed by our Open House at 10:00am. The Preschool’s exhibit will be in the Share & Care room. This will give families an opportunity to admire their children’s hard work and to visit their future classrooms, TK and Kindergarten.

We are working on a class project and need a family picture from each of our preschoolers this week. If possible a 4″ X 6″ photo would be perfect. It can be printed on paper or a processed photo. Thank you!
