Preschool Weekly Update – week of 10/9

Father, we pray for equity in education, housing, access to water, and opportunities for Indigenous people in this land. We lift up each of the unique and individual Indigenous cultures, traditions, and languages – may You protect them and strengthen them. -crcna.org

Dear Preschool Parents,

What a busy week! Our preschoolers took part in the “Blessing of the Animals” with the Kindergarten class and “First Friday Adoration” with the TK class. They were quiet, respectful and reverent. They should be very proud of themselves.

We finished our first week of weather science. We studied clouds, wind, snow and rainbows. Our classroom is fill with all new art work representing these elements.

This week we will explore the individual seasons, summer, fall, winter and spring. Our friend, Doug, from Mystery Science will help us learn the scientific reason for the seasons.

We are having an issue with children being distracted by too many items brought to school for rest time. We would like each child to bring one stuffy, only, for rest time.

Enjoy the three day weekend!

Blessings, Ms. Grace and Miss Rosie
