Hello preschool parents,
We hope you enjoyed looking through your child’s art portfolio from our September curriculum, “All About Me”. Friday concluded our month long exploration on kindness, our bodies and how to stay healthy and safe.
This week we will begin our October curriculum, “The Seasons and Weather”, one of my favorite subjects. We will explore the science of weather, seasons, changes and storms. Our forrest friend, Bear, will help us learn patience this month. The letters C, N, U, the aabb pattern and triangle will be introduced.
This week on Wednesday, 10/4, will be Blessing of the Animals. Your preschooler is welcome to bring a picture of their pet or stuffed animal to school. They will be blessed by Father Joseph in our yard.
On Friday, the class will make their first visit to church for, First Friday Adoration.
Reminders: Please send in your child’s emergency kit if you have not done so. This is a requirement from Community Care Licensing. The list can be found in the preschool handbook. Return Share & Care forms and any updated immunization records for 4 year olds.
