Third Grade Weekly Update
Dear Parents,
This week has been a whirlwind that started with Halloween on Monday. We had a great time and were able to balance both academics and fun. Next week will be shorter with no school on Friday, but we’ll still find time to enjoy a performance by Pacific Boychoir and a play called “Snew White” performed by our drama elective class. We will also take our second STAR Math test next Thursday. Please ensure that your child is present and rested. Our STAR Reading test will take place the following week before break.
Here are some dates to plan for:
- Monday, Oct. 31 – Noon Dismissal – Halloween
- Tuesday, Nov. 1 – All School Mass at 9:30a.m.
- Tuesday, Nov. 8 – Family Math and Game Night Candyland
- Thursday, Nov. 10 – STAR Math Test
- Thursday, Nov. 10 – End of Trimester 1; Information Night 7pm
- Friday, Nov. 11 – No School, No Share & Care – Veteran’s Day
- Tuesday, Nov. 15 – STAR Reading Test
- Mon-Fri, Nov. 14 – 18 – Scholastic Book Fair
- Tuesday, Nov. 15 – Free dress for November Bdays
- Friday, Nov. 18 – Report Card Day
- Mon-Fri, Nov. 21-25 – Thanksgiving Break
