Third Grade Weekly Update

Dear Third Grade Parents,

I hope this email finds you well and enjoying the last days of the break. I was able to fully enjoy the summer with my family, and carved out some much needed personal time to recuperate while reading, running and sleeping (all things I love to do!). Mrs. Schopf and I are now back in the classroom organizing and preparing for the upcoming school year and can’t wait to see you all next week!

I’d like to take the opportunity to welcome the Fischetti and Uzoka families to our classroom community. Both Hannah Fischetti and Esther Uzoka will be new this year and may need some help learning their way around, if your child would like to volunteer, please let me know.

Since next week is very short, our main focus will be connecting again as a class and basic procedures we’ll use throughout the year. I’ve attached our 3rd grade general schedule that shows how our basic week is laid out. An assignment grid and learning objectives overview will be included when we begin our full curriculum (week 2) and will have specific information pertaining to our academic path.

Lastly, if you prefer to use a different email, please let me know and I’ll redirect these messages in the future.
