Third Grade Weekly Update

Dear Third Grade Families,

I hope this email finds you well. We did lots of great learning this past week and are now fully immersed in multiple subjects. We also began practicing mindful meditation where we close our eyes, focus on our breathing and try to settle our minds and bodies for a minute at a time. The students really loved it! 

I’m really looking forward to our upcoming conferences and am so happy that many of you are taking the time to meet in person.
Here are some upcoming dates to plan for:

• Wednesday, Sept. 29 – NOON DISMISSAL, Teacher PD
• Oct 5-8 – NOON DISMISSAL for Parent/Teacher/Student conferences 
• Monday, Oct. 11 – NO SCHOOL, No Share & Care, Indigenous Peoples’ Day
• Thursday, Oct. 14 – Make-up Picture Day
• Tuesday, Oct. 19 – Free dress for Oct days
• Friday, Oct. 29 – NOON DISMISSAL, Halloween Parade
