Third Grade Weekly Update
Dear Parents,
We have so much going on this month! This time of the year always seems to be crawling and flying by at the same time. The end is in reach but there is still so much to do between now and then. I’m trying to remind myself to stop and smell the roses. This is such a wonderful class, and even though they won’t always be my students, I feel fortunate I’ll always be a part of their class as a parent.
Here are some other dates to plan for:
- Tuesday, May 9: Fun Run
- Wednesday, May 10: STAR Reading Test (10:30am)
- Thursday, May 11: Spring Concert and Celebration of the Arts (school doors open at 6:40pm)
- Friday, May 12: Emergency Evacuation Drill starting at 1:00pm
- Tuesday, May 16: Free Dress May Bdays
- Wednesday, May 17: SLC Spirit Day- Beach Day!
- Wednesday, May 17: STAR Math Test (10:30)
- Friday, May 19: Sports Awards Night
- Friday, May 26: Feast of St. Philip Neri Prayer Service- Noon Dismissal
- Monday, May 29: No School- Memorial Day

We have 3 major events next week:The Fun Run, Spring Concert/Festival of the Arts and the Emergency Evacuation Drill. Please be sure to be prepared for all 3 and remember that the Spring Concert and Evacuation Drill are mandatory.
