Kindergarten Update

Dear Parents,                                                        November 19, 2021

We so enjoyed the Thankfulness Boards that the Kindergarteners ( together with their parents) made for their November Homework. Each child shared their board with the class in an oral presentation and the students were evaluated both on their board as well as their oral presentation. It’s a great way for students to begin to practice oral speaking before First Grade.

We are so excited to have our upcoming Thanksgiving holiday!  With many planning trips and family visits we need to remember our protocols for when we return to school.

A reminder about safety and protocols regarding COVID:

If your child is exhibiting any of the COVID symptoms for any reason,  they may not come to school.  Please notify the office as soon as possible.  Please remember to do the symptom check each morning with your child.

The students are now using Epic or Raz, Lexia and Seesaw on their IPADS in class regularly.  This is in preparation for our new routines that will start with personalized December Homework.  Your child will receive their personalized technology plan when we return from break.  This will be their practice for December.

Our new playground structure will be available for the TK and Kindergarten students to use after the Thanksgiving break! We are so excited to have our new Play Structure! We will have an “unofficial ribbon cutting” in the morning on the Monday when we return from vacation.

Please don’t forget to sign and return your child’s report card envelope but  keep the report.

Our SuperKid when we return from vacation will be Emily M. Thanks to Sapphira for sharing her things.
