Kindergarten Update

Dear Parents, October 25,2019

Is the year flying by as quickly for you as it is for us? The students have already been in school for 44 days! We count daily!

As you know, we have begun to initiate some changes for classroom management.  At home, please help your children to have moments in their day where they can be still or wait quietly.  Everything is so “go,go,go” in their lives; some moments of calm are necessary for their development. We will keep you informed of any other changes in the classroom; we hope to help all students with self-regulation and emotional control.

Next week will be a fun one for students with our Halloween celebration and Carnival.

We will begin our day on Halloween with an all school parade around the block immediately following Morning Assembly.  We end on the steps of the K Bldg for a class photo. Then we will head to the classroom for a Halloween Activity, Craft Project and breakfast treats organized by our room mom and volunteers. Thanks to our room mom and volunteers! The students will also attend a small carnival hosted by our Student Leadership Council (SLC) on the blacktop ( at the Big School) later in the AM.  Everyone is welcome at the parade; however the other events are for the class and registered volunteers only. No monies are needed.

**Halloween  is a Noon Dismissal. Share and Care Available. Pack a lunch if your child is  going to Share and Care**

On Friday, November 1st, we will attend our FIRST school-wide All Saints Mass at 8:30AM. We will sit with the 8th grade class on that morning. Please be sure that your child is in full uniform. It is a Holy Day of Obligation; you are welcome to attend.
