Kindergarten Update
Dear Parents, October 1,2021
As we approach the 28th day of Kindergarten this Monday ( students count the days in school) we are happy to report that students have adjusted well to the routines of Kindergarten thus far. Students have become familiar with the regular components of our instruction and practice. Children do well when the expectations are clear. We seek to maintain a positive learning environment that engages students in their learning. We have added a “Jewel Jar” to our positive reinforcements in which the students earn a “jewel” for following the rules, appropriate behavior, acts of kindness, etc. Once the students have acquired 20 jewels, the class will receive a special surprise!
We will celebrate the Feast of St. Francis on Monday, October 4th with a Blessing of the Animals. This will take place on the KIndergarten school yard as a part of our school day with the Preschool and TK classes. Fr. Joseph, our Pastor will bless our pet photos. Please make sure that your child brings a photo of their pet/s.
Thanks for returning your preference times for Parents Teacher Conferences. We look forward to meeting with all of you this coming week. Please remember that your conferences are 15 minutes long so it is important to be on time as we don’t have much “wiggle room” between conferences.
