Preschool Weekly Update – week of 12/18
“Lord God, may we, your people, who look forward to the birthday of Christ experience the joy of salvation and celebrate that feast with love and thanksgiving. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.”
Dear preschool parents,
Our week of learning about the First Nations, specifically the Inuit people, was fascinating. The children tried their hand at sewing, they learned the Inuit word for house is igloo and can be made of any material. When we return from the winter break our curriculum will be on dinosaurs!!
Wednesday is a minimum day with Christmas Free Dress for all SPN school children. There is no afternoon care.
It is a tradition in preschool to celebrate the Christmas break with a Mac & Cheese lunch. This year our special lunch will be Wednesday, 12/20 at 11:00am. Miss Rosie and I will prepare and serve, Mac & Cheese, steamed broccoli florets and fruit. Your child can bring a lunch if they do not eat cheesy pasta.
Blessings, Ms. Grace and Miss Rosie
