Third Grade Weekly Update
Dear Parents,
I hope you’re looking forward to a cozy and relaxing weekend as much as I am! This week students worked efficiently, and we saw that routines and procedures we’ve taken so much time to establish are starting to pay off. Homework that was taking longer than a week is now being turned in early (rewarded with an SLE!) and “Your Turn” practice is helping to produce better results in our Weekly Assessments!
Next week we’re looking forward to celebrating Halloween on Monday with a parade, carnival, treats, crafts and a livestream of Academy of Science’s “Spooktacular Skulls Webinar”. It will be a full and fast day to say the least, and I’ll make sure to take lots of pictures to share with you.
Here are some dates to plan for:
- Monday, Oct. 31 – Noon Dismissal – Halloween
- Tuesday, Nov. 1 – All School Mass at 9:30a.m.
- Tuesday, Nov. 8 – Family Math and Game Night Candyland
- Thursday, Nov. 10 – End of Trimester 1; Information Night 7pm
- Friday, Nov. 11 – No School, No Share & Care – Veteran’s Day
- Mon-Fri, Nov. 14 – 18 – Scholastic Book Fair
- Tuesday, Nov. 15 – Free dress for November Bdays
- Friday, Nov. 18 – Report Card Day
- Mon-Fri, Nov. 21-25 – Thanksgiving Break
