Third Grade Weekly Update

Dear Parents,

I hope you’ve had a wonderful and relaxing break! As for me, I got a chance to catch up on some much needed rest and ate way too much pie!

 As we start our second trimester I would like to focus on ways we can continue to help our students grow. Many of our third grade class have begun exhibiting great responsibility towards their personal learning paths and others still need some gentle nudging. Either way, with our diligence, both in the classroom and at home, I expect to see marked growth this trimester. If you are concerned about any of the grades your child received during the first trimester, and would like resources to strengthen their skills from home, please contact me and I will provide either online learning resources or written ways they can practice ELA and Math skills.

Here are some upcoming dates to plan for: 

• Tues. December 14th: Free Dress for December Birthdays
• Thurs. December 16th: Christmas Concert, 7pm
• Fri. December 17th: Noon Dismissal, NO SHARE & CARE
• December 18th – January 2nd: Christmas Break
• Mon. January 3rd: No School, Staff Work Day
