Third Grade Weekly Update

Dear Parents,

It was really nice meeting with you all last week! Thank you again for making the time and effort. 

I received valuable feedback regarding homework and will begin to require an Article-a-Day from ReadWorks to help bolster reading stamina, vocabulary and comprehension. These can be accessed either through Google Classroom or our Clever portal. Math will also require 1 practice sheet a day.

Here are upcoming events and dates to plan for:   

• Wednesday, Oct.13 – First All School Mass
• Thursday, Oct. 14 – Make-up Picture Day AND Crazy Sock Day
• Tuesday, Oct. 19 – Free dress for Oct days
• Friday, Oct. 29 – NOON DISMISSAL, Halloween Parade

Please note that Wednesday, for all school Mass, students must be in full uniform (sweater or sweatshirt required, no shorts, no free dress).

Lastly, going forward my Learning Objectives document will be an abbreviated version of the ones I have sent previously. My intent is to use the time I spend compiling that extensive information on other aspects of our curriculum.
