Third Grade Weekly Update

Dear Third Grade Parents,

I hope you are all doing well on this lovely morning. As for me, my family and I got a chance to walk to Dimond Park here in Oakland and practiced hitting some balls, it was great!

Third grade did an amazing job writing stories yesterday and shared them to rapturous peer applause. Ask them about it and some of the other stories they were moved by, I’m sure you’ll find it entertaining!

As a reminder, Monday is our annual “Blessing of the Animals” . We ask that students either bring a picture of their pet or a stuffed animal (no live animals on campus please).

We also have conferences starting Tuesday. Please make your best effort to be on time so that we can have our full 15 minutes.
Dates to plan for:

  • Oct 5-8 – NOON DISMISSAL for Parent/Teacher/Student conferences
  • Monday, Oct. 11 – NO SCHOOL, No Share & Care, Indigenous Peoples’ Day
  • Thursday, Oct. 14 – Make-up Picture Day
  • Tuesday, Oct. 19 – Free dress for Oct days
  • Friday, Oct. 29 – NOON DISMISSAL, Halloween Parade

Enjoy the rest of the weekend and I look forward to seeing you all next week!

Warmly,

Mrs. Costy
