Title: Assignment: The 4th Station

Description: JESUS MEETS HIS MOTHER
Midway through your tortuous journey, there she is. Your mother. The same woman who cared for your cuts and scrapes as a little child looks upon you now. She cannot stop what is happening to her son. If I were there, I would see the pain in her eyes, and in yours. But Lord, I’d also see the love.

When have I seen my loved ones in pain? When have I seen a friend or family member in distress, overcome by sadness, worry, or grief? How difficult is it when those I love, suffer and I cannot stop it? Is there really nothing I can do?
When have I seen those I love in pain? How do I manage feelings of helplessness? Is there a way to aid those in need, even when it seems impossible? (Please respond in 4-6 sentences and turn into google classroom by April 7th)
