Preschool Weekly Update-week of 9/18
Dear God, we thank you for your kindness toward us. We love because you first loved us. May we share this same love with everyone we encounter. Give our children hearts of compassion. Help them to see situations from every perspective and to treat others like they would want to be treated. Give them a friendly and kind spirit. May they welcome friends with a smile. Amen.
Hello preschool parents,
The children had a wonderful time exploring their sight, touch, hearing and taste. I want to thank Miss Kristen who had a great hands-on experiment for the preschoolers to test their five senses. The children learned about the artist Piet Mondrian and created their own art piece using the three primary colors, red, blue and yellow. These are hanging in the classroom and will be sent home at the end of the month.
This week we will learn about clothing, kindness and community.
This year, Teacher/Parent conferences, October 3rd-6th, will be a little different for preschool. All preschoolers will receive a written progress report. If you would like to discuss their report I will create a Zoom link to meet in the evening. You are not obligated to have a meeting. I do not want to create a hardship for parents by closing preschool at 12:00pm for the week.
See you soon!
Blessings, Ms Grace
