Preschool Weekly Update-week of 9/11
“Play is fundamentally important for learning 21st century skills, such as problem solving, collaboration and creativity.” – American Academy of Pediatrics
Hello preschool parents,
We had a fun week learning about our bones, x-rays and our bodies. Our forrest friend, Rabbit, was introduced and is helping us lean about kindness. This week we will explore our five senses, sight, smell, taste, hearing and touch.
On Friday our blue, green and yellow play groups were formed. Having an assigned play group for part of the day helps children develop peer relations. This also supports problem solving, collaboration and creativity. These groups will change throughout the year.
Picture day is Tuesday, September 12. Please dress you child in his/her white shirt, blue sweater or school sweatshirt.
There is no school on Friday, September 15th.
Have a lovely Sunday.
Blessings, Ms. Grace
