Kindergarten Weekly Update
Please be sure to read the letter regarding Kindergarten expectations for behavior. We are asking for your assistance in helping our students make good choices and to understand the consequences of their behavior.Your assistance in this matter is crucial. When parents and teachers work together, children can be successful.
The following students will have their Art displayed at the Lillian Black Festival of the Arts this coming Sunday at Bishop O’Dowd High School from 1-4PM:

Congratulations to all. Your child will have the opportunity to have their art displayed each year at the festival. The selections were chosen by Mrs. Romero, our Art Teacher.
Our Super Kid this week is Carl.
Rosie will go home with Ivy.

What’s Happening in Class?
ELA/ Language Arts/ Superkids- identify upper and lower-case Ww, associate picture names with w, listen for details in a song, read memory word “to”, use correct spacing and punctuation, answer questions about a story, encode words, know fantasy, reality and setting, write a sentence using the model demonstrated
Math.- Counting to 40, counting by1’s, 5’s, 10,’s, addition with sums to 10,counting forward from a given number rather than 1, represent addition and subtraction with objects, solving story problems with objects
Science-Introduction of Force and Motion will begin next week. We are finishing up our evaluations of students on Five Senses.
