Kindergarten Update

Dear Parents, May 26,2022

Your children are almost First Graders! All children have shown growth in their emotional, social and academic education in Kindergarten this year. We will continue with our End of Year Assessments for Superkids as well as continuing assessments in Language Arts and Math this week.

We look forward to seeing our Kindergarteners’ creative talents in conjunction with their Saints Reports this week!  Some students have already sent a video of their saint presentation- some even dressed in costumes and had props! Thank you for assisting your children. We appreciate all of the extra work involved. It’s a great learning experience in preparation for the older grades.

For the last day of school, St. Philip Neri has traditionally held a “Moving Up Ceremony.” We will have our “Moving Up Ceremony” on  Tuesday, June 14th from 9:30-10:30 AM.Teachers prepare a send-off speech for their classes and present it on this day in the church. Each grade then “moves” over to the pew where their next grade sits.  Due to current COVID circumstances, parents will not be able to be in the church for this event.  Please join us on the main school yard to watch your Kindergartener transition to the 1st grade line!

This is our last day of school and please note, it is a 10:30 dismissal.  There is no Share and Care on this day.

Our last SuperKid is Kalina! Thank you to Maxwell for sharing his things.
