First Grade Weekly Update

It was a busy week in First Grade-the students are working hard! Thank you to all who have returned the conference form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1_sa526IvzuLZ0xhVDjcSx2Z5NxRM7UQm9WGJYZOE1gI/editI will be coordinating with all homeroom teachers this week as we schedule conferences. A reminder that students will attend those conferences October 5-8.

On Tuesday the students will have a visit from Ms. Andie at the Alameda Free Library. Our first Spirit Day is on Thursday. Students may coordinate with others from the class to dress similarly. A reminder that there is no school for students on Friday. The teachers and staff will be participating in our Elementary Staff Day with all schools in the Diocese.

Please have your child bring in a small rock next week for a Religion project. Also we will need a photo of your family for our school “Belonging” Bulletin Board. Please send these in by September 29.

Great job turning in homework today. On occasion I will send home a Superkids “Supershort” for your child to practice reading. These can be used for that middle square.
